Nexia STT would like to inform the recruitment for the position of Audit Assistant working in Ho Chi Minh City.

Job description: Audit Assistant

Audit Assistant is responsible for reporting to Audit Manager/Audit Partner and will have direct responsibility as follows:

  • Maintain and apply an up-to-date knowledge of the NEXIA STT Audit Approach;
  • Conduct the audit field work to comply with Firm standards; inform senior of the problems on a timely basis;
  • Ensure that working papers are complete and ready for senior review, analyse time performance and explain overages;
  • Demonstrate professionalism and good communications skills in dealing with client including trust and confidence building, sensitivity and responsiveness to their needs; identify ways to add value;
  • Maintain and apply an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of VAS, International and Vietnamese Auditing Standards, and tax and corporate laws; use this knowledge in completing audits including in analytical techniques; and
  • Demonstrate competence in computer skills; demonstrate use of computer skills to achieve audit efficiencies.
  • Establish professional working relationships with clients.
  • Contribute actively to all activities of the audit department.

Required skills/experiences: Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • University or higher level graduates in accounting, auditing, finance;
  • Goal and deadline orientated;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
  • Hard working, responsible and willing to learn;
  • Team working spirit;
  • New graduation or experience 1-2 years.

Job location: Ho Chi Minh City and travel to different provinces in Vietnam and abroad if any.

Type of position: Full-time permanent.
