Thao is a CPA VN - the official member of the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) and also the Attorney-at-law. She is a BA (Economics), holding the Master of Law (LLM), the Tax Practising Certificate and the Chief Accountant Certificate.

With over 19 years of experience in auditing, accounting, tax, legal and business advisory, Thao has involved in many projects of consultancy and structuring the corporate system, group and financial restructuring, tax planning including tax finalisation support, M&A's tax consultancy.

Thao has extensive knowledge of the Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), the International Financial Reproting Standards (IFRS), the Vietnamese legal framework as well, especially in various tax laws, the Law on Enterprises, the Law on Investment etc.
